Dear Sir/Madam,
We are pleased to inform you that this year, France is one of the countries selected to take part in the R&A’s 9 hole Challenge. As part of this, 2 of ffgolf 2023’s licensees, one man and one woman, will have the opportunity to play the 9-hole Challenge final on the Royal Liverpool course on July 14, as a preview to the 151st edition of The Open Championship.
The winner will be chosen by random draw from among ffgolf adult licensees who have taken part in at least one competition counting towards the 9-hole index in a ffgolf-affiliated golf course between April1 and June 25, 2023.
Today, we’ll be informing all our licensees by e-mail of this exceptional opportunity offered by the R&A and the conditions of the draw we’ll be making.
Each of the two winners will receive :
- 3 nights’ B&B accommodation at the Thornton Hall Hotel (one accompanying person possible, subject to additional costs being covered).
- Coverage of round-trip travel expenses to the Open site from mainland France (excluding DROM, COM or Corsica), excluding accompanying persons.
- 2 tickets for 2 training days and 1 championship day.
(The R&A will not cover accommodation costs for the Open). - A welcome reception at the Thornton Hall Hotel on Thursday, July 13 (winner and accompanying person) in the presence of the R&A Captain, host club officials and R&A officials.
- A closing dinner at Royal Liverpool Golf Club on Friday, July 14 (winner only) in the presence of the captain, R&A officials and host venue officials.
- Round-trip transfers between the hotel and the club and for dinner on July 14.
- Welcome goodies.
The winners of the final of the 9 hole Challenge will each receive a trophy, products from the Open line and a voucher for use in the Open online store. Runners-up will receive a quaich, products from the Open line and a voucher, and third-placed players will receive a quaich and a voucher.
