We at Soufflenheim Golf Club were severely affected by the exceptional rainfall event on May 17, 2024 and the subsequent flooding.
This phenomenon is natural and local human action to improve the situation is very difficult to implement.
After several days of hard work, our team in Soufflenheim is currently receiving praise and congratulations from several golfers who have walked the greens in Soufflenheim. We have compiled here some of the letters of support and thanks received and would like to thank you all for your understanding in these difficult times, your support and above all for the trust you have placed in us throughout the year.
Message dated May 28, 2024 from a member in Soufflenheim: “Dear Ms. Lotter and dear Club Team.
Thank you for your message and your commitment to offering us the best golf all year round.
The floods you mentioned have also made a great impression on me and I am aware of the enormous efforts that will have to be made by everyone involved to bring the golf course back to the expected level.
Please be assured of my support and warmest regards”.
Message dated May 28, 2024 from an ASES member: “Hello Mrs. LOTTER,
From the bottom of my heart with your team, which is great!

Message dated May 30, 2024 from a member in Soufflenheim: “I played the 18-hole course today and to be honest, I congratulate the entire Soufflenheim golf course team for their work and for making the course playable again in such a short time.
A big compliment to Frédéric Schott for all the management, to all the people at reception for their friendliness and a huge bravo to all the gardeners.
It is a real pleasure to be a member of this golf course”.
Message dated May 31, 2024 from one of our partners who is organizing a tournament on June 14, 2024: “We would like to use this email to support, but above all to congratulate the entire Soufflenheim golf course team, who have already done a great deal of work to refurbish the course.
The work and dedication of the golf course staff over the next two weeks will ensure that we will have a fantastic golf course on June 14th, as we have had in previous years.”
A big thank you to you all for your messages.
We would also like to support the staff at La Wantzenau Golf Club, who still have a lot of work to do over the next few days.
We would also like to support the staff at La Wantzenau Golf Club, who still have a lot of work to do over the next few days.
Having been confronted with this situation ourselves in Soufflenheim, we can only too well understand the difficult situation of Laurent TRESCARTE and his staff at La WANTZENAU golf course in order to make the golf course accessible again for the members of the golf club.
In a spirit of solidarity between neighboring golf clubs, we are offering members of the Golfs de la Wantzenau access to our 18-hole course at a green fee rate of €50 for this Saturday, June 1 and Sunday, June 2, 2024, and a rate of €40 for Monday, June 3, Tuesday, June 4 and Wednesday, June 5, 2024, upon presentation of the Pastille Golfs in Alsace.
We are convinced that the team of gardeners of La Wantzenau, just like our gardeners in Soufflenheim, will find a solution to the situation to quickly present their course at its best.
A few dates to remember for Soufflenheim:
– Wednesday, June 5: Meeting between the golfers of Urlhoffen and the Ryders of Soufflenheim.
– Saturday, June 8: Tournoi Des Marshal/Gourmand (social competition in teams of two).
– Sunday, June 9: Junior competition (open to all golfers under the age of 18).
Frédéric SCHOTT and the entire Soufflenheim Golf Club team
