The Soufflenheim Golf Club was severely affected by the unprecedented rainfall of May 17, 2024 and the flooding that followed.
In order to improve the situation, the teams are doing everything in their power to restore the course.
After several days of hard work, our team in Soufflenheim is currently reaping the praise and congratulations of several golfers who have trodden the greens. We have selected here a few of the messages of support and thanks we have received, and would like to take this opportunity to thank you all for your understanding in these difficult times, for your support and above all for the trust you have placed in us throughout the year.
Message of May 28, 2024 from a member of Soufflenheim : ” Dear Mrs Lotter and club team.
Thank you for your message and your commitment to offering us the very best in golf all year round.
I’ve also been very impressed by the floods I’ve just mentioned, and I’m aware of the considerable effort required by everyone to bring the course up to the expected standard.
Be assured of my support and warmest regards.”
Message of May 28, 2024 from an ASES Member: ” Hello Mrs. LOTTER,
My heart goes out to your wonderful team!
Bonne continuation

Message of May 30, 2024 from Soufflenheim member: “I played on the 18-hole course today and frankly I congratulate the whole Soufflenheim golf team for your work and for making the course playable in such a short time.
Well done to Frédéric Schott for all the management, to all the people at reception for their kindness and a huge bravo to all the gardeners.
A real pleasure to be a member of this golf club.”
Message dated May 31, 2024 from one of our partners who is organizing a competition on June 14, 2024 : “We would like to use this e-mail to support and, above all, congratulate the Soufflenheim golf team, who have already done a great deal of work to refurbish the course.
The hard work and dedication of the golf staff over the next two weeks will ensure that we have a fantastic course again on June 14, as in previous years.
Many thanks for your messages.
In turn, we’d like to encourage the La Wantzenau golf teams to keep up the hard work in the days ahead.
Having been confronted with this situation ourselves in Soufflenheim, we fully understand the dismay of Laurent TRESCARTE and his teams at Golf de la WANTZENAU, as they try to make the course accessible again to golf members.
In a spirit of solidarity between neighboring golf clubs, we are offering members of the La Wantzenau golf club, on presentation of the Golfs in Alsace sticker, access to our 18-hole course at a Greenfee rate of €50 for this Saturday, June1 and Sunday, June 2, 2024, and a rate of €40 for Monday, June 3, Tuesday, June 4 and Wednesday, June 5, 2024.
We’re confident that, just like our gardeners in Soufflenheim, the Wantzenau gardening team will find a solution to the situation and quickly present their course in its best light.
For Soufflenheim, a few dates to remember:
- Wednesday June 5 meeting between the Urlhoffen golfers and the Soufflenheim Ryders.
- Saturday June 8 Des Marshals/Gourmand Tournament (friendly competition in teams of 2) open to out-of-town players.
- Sunday June 9: junior competition (open to all golfers under 18)
Frédéric SCHOTT and the Soufflenheim golf team.
